(This review will be on 7 aspects - built, configuration, performance, display, sound, connectivity and miscellaneous)
1) Built - the laptop is made fully of plastic, with hardly any metal used. Even after so, the weight of the laptop is much heavier than metal made laptops! At 2.2kgs expect a good exercise for your shoulders and back! Made of plastic means low guard against damage, handle with out most care! Coming to the keyboard, the keys are well spaced and of decent size but it feels like a toy! Blackberry phone has keyboard which feels more sturdy than this keyboard, the keys of which if pressed with too much pressure may pop out, as u feel they are attached by strings underneath! The trackpad is atrociously small! I don't know what were they thinking while sizing the trackpad, if the laptop will be used by kids with tiny hands, fingers and palms! Its annoying to use it, and my fingers still pains because of extensive use to trackpad for just an hour! As of now, laptop doesn't heat up that much, but while gaming it does reach its highest heat! The looks of the laptop is also not that great! Overall built quality is below average!
rating - 4/10.
Configuration - The laptop flaunts intel i3 2.4Gz processor, but doesn't know its outdated now! though if u compare with the dual cores, you can feel good :) 4gb DDR3 ram is a good and commendable upgrade! The college has provided for genuine windows for genuine reasons :P but nevertheless its useful! It has 320GB hard disk, which can cater to your lifelong presentations and word documents :P The laptop has 512mb Radeon HD graphic card, so you can enjoy your fifas and GTAs.. but don't expect it would run your call of duty or assassin creeds (do you get time to play? I don't :( ) Overall the Configuration is not that disappointing, only question is why not i5?
Rating - 6/10
Performance - performance is mainly depended upon the configuration, so Fujitsu lifebook works well! Also maybe because these are young days of my laptop and I would need to maintain a good upbringing of my lappy to ensure good performance even after few months! On full charge, which it takes around 2 hours, laptop runs for around 3 hours! This will be deteriorating for sure! So always carry your charger along! Apart from this, the file transfer speed is fast, the start up takes about a minute, applications open on time and runs smooth, some times it gets confused but it recovers the commands in few seconds. Satisfying performance, if u aint used to something way better!
Rating - 7/10
Display- Display is the best thing of this laptop! It has 14.1inch 1366 * 768 resolution display! It has a superfine HD backlight LED display! the colours are well saturated and bright enough indoors, outdoor it tones down by half, but still not that bad! Though this kind of LED displays have become common, its still good to have a standard good display pleasing your eyes! Also the display can be pushed to 140degrees, giving you great viewing dimensions! but obviously the viewing angles are not that great, so its suggested that always keep the display at a perfect angle in front of you than crooked!
